The founders.<\/strong> Virginie Deshayes and Thibaut Issindou created the Lyon-based company Gapsmoov in 2020. They developed the cultural management digital learning platform \u201cLe D\u00e9codeur de cultures,\u201d designed for companies and schools.
\u201cThe decline in the number of expatriates and international travel makes intercultural training even more relevant,\u201d explains Thibaut Issindou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept.<\/strong> The \u201cD\u00e9codeur de cultures\u201d is an online platform that helps decode cultural behaviors in sixty countries. Quizzes allow users to test their knowledge of a country to work more effectively with colleagues. The platform also offers video-learning sequences and business cases to place users in real-life situations.
\u201cOur solution is here to replace intercultural management books with a simple and fun app,\u201d says Thibaut Issindou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outlook.<\/strong> The \u201cD\u00e9codeur de cultures\u201d issues a certificate after key evaluations, such as the ability to negotiate or make a client presentation in a multicultural environment. The platform\u2019s business model is based on the purchase of licenses\u2014either by companies or schools\u2014which are made available to their employees or students. The co-founders, who started with their own capital, plan to bring companies on board to support business development. CB<\/p>\n\n\n\n
