The “Culture Decoder” is a training platform for learning how to communicate and work effectively with your foreign counterparts. This training will give you a better understanding of cultural differences and similarities, explaining the reasons for them, and, above all, improving your intercultural management, communication, and cooperation skills.
Goals: You will learn practical techniques for managing and communicating with multicultural audiences through the seven major professional objectives covered, namely:
– Leading a team of foreigners
– Successfully conducting a meeting with foreigners
– Becoming a leader in a foreign country
– Giving a presentation to foreigners
– Negotiating with a foreigner
– Selling to a foreigner
– Building social connections with a foreigner
Learner profiles: because we believe that intercultural issues are everyone’s business in business, this training is aimed at anyone who interacts with international contacts in a professional setting.
Duration: 12 months of access to the platform. The actual training time per learner is estimated at 15 hours, including the completion of training modules, quizzes, practical cases, virtual classrooms, and assessments. The duration of the training depends on the number of countries studied, the organization, and the needs of the learner and the company.
Methods used: The training session is delivered remotely through online training modules, including a cultural preference questionnaire, training videos, quizzes, practical cases, a cultural comparison tool, and inter-company virtual classroom sessions. The proposed teaching techniques emphasize interactivity within the group and encourage alternation between reflection time, discussion, practical cases, and theoretical input.
Learner satisfaction rate: 4.51 / 5 (average calculated based on the collection of 2,674 individual reviews, directly from the platform)
Training results tracking and assessment methods: The duration of the assessments is included in the module duration. The learner’s knowledge is assessed at three points during the training.
Throughout the training, when quizzes are completed in the “Explore” feature. A grade out of 100% is awarded. All quiz results are compiled and recorded for each learner in the “Evaluate” feature. Assessments include 30 questions per country or skill, allowing for the issuance of a certificate upon 80% correct answers.
At the end of the training: a self-assessment with feedback on an initial question to identify the learner’s progress.
Support: From the “Contacts and Support” menu, learners can request:
Support from their course advisor to help them understand or complete a step in one or more modules.
Technical assistance is available throughout their training.
Terms and conditions for accessing the training: Registration is available upon request following a telephone interview and acceptance of the commercial proposal. Once registered, an email is sent to the learner with their access to the platform. Average time to start training: 24 hours.
